No. Unlike conventional clay bricks which need soaking and curing before use, JK SMARTBLOX have very low water usage requirements and only need light surface wetting before application. This delivers faster and highly economical construction.
Are they safe during an earthquake?
Yes. Because the structures built with SMARTBLOX are lighter, they absorb and transmit fewer seismic forces during an earthquake. They strictly conform to the requirements of highly active seismic zones IV & V.
